Greetings from Susan Marlowe CPA! I have recently taken up quilting as my new hobby and I am having an absolutely amazing time enjoying it. I thought I would go off topic for this post (and maybe others) to share some information on my new hobby.

Susan Marlowe CPA the Quilter

This is a really cool video. It promises a quilt top in less than an hour. It took an hour and a half for me but I had to contend with my dogs "helping" me along. But how can you be mad at them for that, the cuties. Anyway, I really like this video and it went a long way toward helping Susan Marlowe create her quilt. One design that I am calling Beverly Hills involves some cool California sunset motifs. I hope to share the first Susan Marlowe quilt very quickly.

This is another fun and easy quilt. I am actually working on this one now for my mom. (Shh, it's a secret. Mom is not on the internet though)

Finally, this one is rather dear to Susan Marlowe's heart. It's how to make a quilter's color wheel. Color is a topic that often is difficult for me so this is an excellent bit of practice.

Salutations, one and all, from Susan Marlowe CPA! Summer is here and it is time for me to make my friendly annual reminder to please do not leave your dog in your car. Cars get very, very hot and it is not good for dogs, it can even endanger their lives. We know that you love your dog but loving a pet doesn't mean that they have to accompany you everywhere. Show love by leaving your dogs at home. They will be safer and healthier if they do not have to stay in a hot car waiting for their special person to return.

Making your own Dog Food, Susan Marlowe CPA

Hello from Susan Marlowe, CPA! I am updating everyone on my doggie biscuit baking hobby. I am trying some great new recipes for dog biscuits. My dog is a real peanut butter lover and he is really enjoying the baking experiments. I am planning to be sharing some of the best recipes with everyone but until then, I am just going to be enjoying baking them.

Diamond Pet Food Recall News from Susan Marlowe CPA Dallas Dog Blogger

Greetings from Susan Marlowe CPA. Well, this is scary news. You recall that Diamond Pet Food had salmonella in its products and that humans and pets alike were being sickened. Well, they have expanded their recall. Be sure to check and see if you have purchased these brands.

There is also a petition on Change.org for Nestle Purina to recall its Waggin' Train chicken jerky treats. This is really scary since my pets loved these jerky treats. When I heard the news, I immediately got rid of any Waggin' Train treats. My heart goes out to owners who have lost their beloved pets. They deserve answers from Nestle and the FDA.

Dog Food and Pet Health, Susan Marlowe CPA Tries to Find the Best Dog Food

Welcome back! My name is Susan Marlowe and I am a CPA in Dallas. However, my real passion is dogs. I love being a dog owner and want to share some tips and reviews with the good people of the world-wide web.

Right now I am trying to find the very best dog food for my chihuahuas. I want to keep their weight under control (they do love to eat) and to make sure they are getting the very best ingredients. My motto: if it isn't good enough for Susan Marlowe, it isn't good enough for the chihuahuas.

I am going to be posting periodic reviews of dog food brands and various flavors. These are products I will buy right off the store shelves. I am not fortunate enough to have a shilling deal with a dog food company (hint, hint, hee hee) so I am a neutral reviewer. My chihuahuas will be nmy taste-testers.

I am having a great time with my dogs. I bought some really nice protective screens for my car so that they can enjoy the car, the wind, and the drive without endangering the little babies.
